Hale Kai Hawaii has been in operation for more than 30 years. Guests enjoy the history of the quaint neighborhood and our comfortable rooms. Please NOTE there is NO AC. Room fans are provided and ocean breezes are almost constant.

While at Hale Kai (House on the Ocean) Hawaii, enjoy watching surfers, dolphins, and seasonal humpback whales during their annual migration to the Hawaiian Islands from the north Pacific.

“This place was great. It was up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The gardens were beautiful. I loved the pool overlooking the ocean it was such a great place to relax. We stayed in the Heritage Room that had a sliding glass door to the lanai with a table and two chairs to relax. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for two people.
